MSConfig And Gallery Update

I've recently re-discovered a tool that I had completly forgoten about. It all started when I was trying to to get some Roxio software installed to build a DVD with my holiday photos and video. On the instructions it suggested getting more resource back by controling what starts or not. I have in the past tended to use regedit how ever that was a none reversable change where as MSCoinfig you can revert back any time. The end result was that I got my performance back in my laptop and I'll be looking at the CarPC next to see if I can speed the boot process up from what it is now. To access MSConfig just do 'start/run and type 'MSConfig then hit enter'...... be careful though.
Re the gallery - its taking a long to time to re organise all the images and add text so its not ready yet how ever you are looking at far better access to around 500 images and I'll have the ability to update it very quickly once its done.

Blogtastic News

You may have noticed a few changes in this Diary area... I've converted the old work log in to a full blown blog. I've done this so I can do more regular and quicker updates as thats some thing this sites lacked. The main reason behind that was because for the most part it was static HTML and took time to prepare - hence the once in a while updates. So - now I can keep you updated - I'm still doing loads and its for this reason I want to share it with you.
The blog its self can also be tracked by RSS & other methods using the links on the right hand side which also contains all the old archives too. Best of all the search function also covers the blog too so you'll be able to find that bit of elusive info quiet easily.....

Well the sites had a bit of a tidy up

Happy Christmas every one. Well its been a busy week or two. V2 is now in a works very well how ever I took a lot of photos of the project and I have not had much time so far to get them on here, in the mean time here is a brief teaser.

Well the sites had a bit of a tidy up. I have included a lot of information that will be relevant to Version 2 including quite a bit on the hardware its self. The main CPU remains the same but wit the lowering of prices and the availability of certain hardware now its better then ever. With look it should be installed in time for the 1st Uk Car PC meet on the 14th of December 2003 - but for more information about that you must be a MP3car member. Lastly - before I finish - I have been given the OK to link to a very special offer from Cartft.com. These guys have been getting some good press recently in the MP3car forum and I currently have two of the units on offer on the way. Have a look in the hardware section at my new Lilliput VGA touch screen and if you like it click here and get your self one starting at €299 plus postage etc.

I have spoken to the user concerned and he may be able to do some thing for those of us out side the US as long as we pick up the postage side of things. Still no word on the ITX PSU how ever I have asked the question.
Update - I have confirmed this offer is for the forth-coming ITX DC to DC PSU
